From the simple to the flamboyant, Squasch Garden is here to provide custom-made garments that help reflect the inner you. Clothing is a necessity, but it is also a source of self-expression. No matter what we choose to put on our bodies, we are making a choice. A choice to show who we are and how we feel inside. This is why wearing clothes that are right for who you are is so important; You should love what you wear.
Squasch Garden Studio’s focus is creating custom clothing, with an emphasis on those items that simply can’t be found in mainstream fashion. However, nothing is off-limits in the Garden… from simple t-shirts to elaborate Halloween costumes, everything that can be dreamed up can be created.
About Tascha
Tascha is the creator, designer, and stitcher of Squasch Garden Studio. She learned to sew at a young age, taught be her grandmother. For many years it was a simple pastime, a way to create exceptional costumes for Halloween and the Renaissance Festival (and, of course, to look fabulous in everyday wear). Then one day she built a costume for a convention, and she realized how passionate she was about creating unique, unconventional things. Tascha went back to university to get a degree in costume design, graduating from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2020.
Over the years Tascha developed a passion not only for sewing but for providing people with the joy of loving what they wear. Her goal for this company is to promote self-love, self-confidence, and provide a resource for everyone who has ever felt that what they really want to be wearing just isn’t available. Mainstream fashion should never get in the way of loving what you’re wearing.
